A New Website to Support Business Growth

Cleo’s Southern Cuisine began as a single-location restaurant in Chicago’s vibrant Bronzeville neighborhood. But by 2021, Cleo’s had become a local sensation – the subject of glowing reviews and enthusiastic media coverage. Suddenly visitors were lining up around the block for a taste of their southern-fried catfish and pineapple-candied sweet potatoes.

That’s when owner, operator, and head chef Kristen Harper realized her growing business was going to need a new website.

They were also using two different platforms to power a single website. Back of House advised the client to consolidate web hosting through Square. This proved a particularly effective solution because it provided seamless integration with Cleo’s Square POS system.

Cleo’s new website builder delivered above and beyond expectations. The resulting website is stylish, functional, and seamlessly integrated with Cleo’s tech stack. It also proved an instant boon to Cleo’s business.  

“Our sales have increased upwards of 30% since launching the new site,” said Harper.
