Ease of Use
Really easy to use
This has been a really easy platform to use. The ability to search for reservations by partial names or phone numbers saves a lot of time. Preferences are saved when you put them in and requests are easy to attach. We can create full guest profiles which we hadn’t been able to do before. It’s nice to see things in a full view instead of just in snippets. You can also whitelist the icon-host site on your company’s firewall. The two-way messaging system has been pretty helpful in modifying reservations in real-time.
Great at driving guests to restaurant
The pros of this far outweigh any cons. This platform is excellent at driving guests to your restaurant. I’ve been able to cut costs by eliminating OpenTable fees. I’m also able to track the live data on customer spending over time. The only downfall is that it isn’t the industry standard so people may be less familiar with the booking platform. But I think this is rapidly changing.
